Guys - as you may have noticed from my response to Sebastien I have had very poor results from my Sako SUPER Hammerheads. Now I believe that these are a new version of the old Hammerhead - a bullet that had quite a good reputation.
Is there anyone out there with experience of the 'Super' Hammerhead that would care to add to this thread?............. English would be good!

I swithched tot he Sako Game-head in 90gr .243Win this season. I have so far taken a couple of foxes and a fallow pricket with them and am very pleased with the results.
I was thinking of moving o the hammer head in 100gr (I think it is the Sako name for the nosler patrtition???)for the hind shooting I have booked in December. I would have liked to get the .308Win on my FAC by then but looks like I won't be able to in time.
Any thoughts on the hammerheads suitability for thew hinds? (or alternative loads in .243?) It's a shame I have to step up the extra 10gr's, as I really like the 90's...

Sebastien will haunt you for ignoring the centre of the world I wil lgo for English this time
I have a friend who have used it in 3006 and had a much better result than the old ones. It's a bonded bullet soo performance is about Norma Oryx. It has worked pretty well for him on boars and LG/Moose
Sako Twinhead is same as Nosler Partition. Hammerhead is made by Sako in Finland. Norma Oryx is much better bullet than Sako Hammerhead or Superhammerhead.

I think there have been a few problems with the first version of the Sako Super Sammerhead, in some production series. SSH has now been improved, and i think it is fair to compare them to Oryx. The retain weight is not as much as Oryx, but SSH works almost just as well.
