Just wondering if any Norwegians got lucky on the first day of the roe buck season today?

It would be nice to see some pics, and perhaps a little story

None... had a big red stag entering the scene with some does last night, but no roebuck.
This morning the farmer starts cutting and bailing grass on the best fields, so I just has to wait some more days until things quiten down a bit.

My first buck ever, fell for a Lapua Mega, yesterday evening. A small buck, but with with a very special trophy.

A female moose was grazing right next to the buck, so he was a bit distracted, managed to crawl trough the mud until I was about 30 meters from him to get a good shot.

I will hang it on the wall ofcourse, haven't desided if I will cut it and put it on a plate yet. I'll probably hang the whole skull.

Shot this small buck on Saturday.. Exciting hunt even though the antlers didn't exactly break the world record..
