Johan,

Just Steve, please, because in Italy is too formal or "official".

I'm not absolutely shy. I wish to know if MidwaySverige ships in Europe, because if they ship in EU I'll buy some Hornady dies, and some friend of mine can get stocks and other items.
I wish to buy a 9.3x62Mauser Hornady custom dies, a 22k-hornet Hornady custom dies, and a 9.3x62 Mauser RCBS Neck size only dies.
This for beginning. Otherwise I can try with MidwayDenmark!
But what a stress....
bye

hi, Steve.

I sent the finnish midway an email forwarding your question. Got a the answer that they do not ship anything abroad. That is probably why they set up busuness in many countries. What is it you need? Maybe one can be of assistance.

By the way there is a dictionary at www.midwaysuomi.com, up left in a frame called Erikoistoiminnot, you just click the word sanakirja, and soon youll be proficient in the finnish language. Unless you try the grammar..

Do Midway ship to Europe?

Their on-line check out suggests they ship only with the US.

Thanks

I recently tried shopping at Midways. No go. They wouldn't even accept my credit card because my billing address is not in the States.

Not sure the last time anyone had them ship to Europe???

Richard, For what it's worth, I've had good luck with Grafs, and Lock, Stock & Barrel.

If translation would be needed, the swedish speaking guys here would likely be happy to assist you .

Thanks for that link. What I was wanting was some 318 WR bullets but the price for FMJ on the US site is 18 and the Swedish site is 49. Softs are 21 and 35.

Hmmmm. That is a damn good price if you happen to live in the US! It is a shame that Midway US will not ship beyond continental US.

Perhaps they don't ship directly from US to Europe just because there are an European branch of Midway with higher prices...

Richard, I dont have any idea what shipping costs. What would the actual difference be in the bottom line? Maybe one of us here could ship it to you if costs and red tape were not prohibitive.

Richard, regardless of Midway and US vs. Europe price issues, you may well have problems finding any commercial US source willing to ship bullets to you - Midway or otherwise. These days, it seems like the rules for shipping components (brass, bullets etc) out of the States have been tightened considerably. Whereas before, it seemed you could order small amounts without an export license, that seems to be a no-go these days.

I've had the same experience with Midway as some of our other regulars in here. They won't even do business with me (shipping to a US address), even though I used to be a (good or at least decent) customer. Brownells seem to have taken the same route.

I take my business to "Grafs", "Lock, Stock & Barrel" or "Sinclairs" these days. Excellent service. Sinclair will even do exports for you (at a price and a bunch of hassle, although that is hardly Sinclairs' fault!)
