Have any of you shot or even handled the new ZOLI Express O/U?

I saw an ad in a recent SCI publication and it looked interesting --- especially the drop-out mechanical trigger.

The price in the US is listed at $6,000 + $2900 if you want a set of 20ga O/U barrels to go with your rifle.

It's only a 1100 euro rifle in Europe. So I am guessing your getting the full shaft at $6000.

Buy a Blaser, or Heym if you want an over and under.

I think this is a different gun than the one you are referring to.....unfortunately I can't lift a photo off their web-site.

My experience is limited to Zoli bolt actions and their quality has been fairly good at best. Anyway , I would not spend $6000/3900€ on any Zoli rifle/express.

Nope just another situation where we get screwed over by an importer.

Heym is the same price in America as it is in Germany. I would buy a Heym for less money and the Heym is regulated with Hornady ammo.

In fact depending on how many months of tax free I have this year I plan on buying a Heym 9.3x74R.

The Antonio Zoli express and combination rifles - medium calibers - they shoot very well. In comparision wiht the carbine made from the same factory they shoot far better. They are maybe the most accurate express on the market and also very well done. The price here in italy run from 2500 euro ( the Focus 18 model) to 4000 (the focus E model).

I dont know if the express Heym, Krieghoff or Merkel they are so accurate.Maybe the Blaser but is heavier and not so immediate on the shoulder.
The Zoli express is a very good choice to me.
