Today we got a Info-letter from Interimport. The new was that the .22 Stinger get not a CIP permission. The source for this is, the case is too long! The new name by CIP is .22ext.l.r., also extra long for rifle. In Germany now, when you have a ammunion permit for .22l.r., you aren´t allowed to buy Stinger! Then the .22ext.l.r. isn´t the .22l.r. This is good old Germany and good old Europe. The future will be great, for legal gunowners! Martin

It´s unbelivable. Which 22 rimfire guns are supposed to shoot this "new born" cartridge then ? Talk about spending the taxpayers money wisely. Some should have had a mighty kick in the ass ! Arild Iversen.

I do not understand the problem, this is a real and typical case of bureucratic cerebral masturbation. Stinger is not a new cartridge, is dimensionallly a .22Lr with a lighter bullet and a longer case, but always in the .22Lr dimensions. Martin thank you for the insert info search. bye Stefano Waidmannsheil
