First day back at work after my Arizona trip. Didn't kill a deer out there but had a great time.

Went out to one of the places this afternoon, around 6 p.m. to retreive one of the boss's vehicles and as we were driving in I spotted a coyote out in one of the wheat fields.

I managed to get stopped without spooking the critter, got out with my 35 Whelen and took a rest on the back of the bed. Coyote was just walking and I lucked into it with a 225 grain Barnes "X" Flat Base at 175 to 200 yards out.

The coyote was moving to my right and the bullet it entered on the right side. What is shown in the picture is th exit wound.

Even the rocks don't last forever.
