After reading all the glowing reports of these bullets in various 6mm family guns, I bought a box of each today. Now what are some of everybodies favorite loads using them? Will try them out tomorrow or by the weekend in an old old Remington 700VS that will do in the .3s with 70 grain BT so get your replies in!! Thanks in advance! GHD

my 6mm liked the very well until I got over 3700 and they fell apart.it would do over 3600 with the 70`s so I didnt see the point in the 55`s.

If you can get them to group at 4000 I can see why you would want them.

The 55 Blitzkings group better than anything I've ever tried in my 700 at 3925 fps with IMR 4895.

GHD, OK, I see--a .243 Win.>>>I have a .243 Win. with a Pac-Nor Barrel in 14" twist and I had the reamer set up just for the 58 gr. v-max. 44.0 Grs. of Varget is far and away the best load that I have found and I really like Varget because it is a stable Powder and is not affected by changes in the temp. I get about 3800 fps and it is very accurate...about 1/2" or better. First time I hog hunter with this rig, my wife was sitting beside of me and I found a Hog that I ranged at 574. I didn't want to shoot him because, well, you know who was watching and I didn't want to miss. Anyway, I finally took the shot, went right over him..Second shot killed him "graveyard dead". I just looked at my notes and I see that I shot 22 times on that trip and I killed 19 ground Hogs and a Coyote, and that was in SW Va. I like it a lot..Cris284w

I have had good luck with the 55gr BT in 2 different .243s. First was a Rem M7 I use on called coyotes, secound is a Ruger 77 Varmint. In the mod7 I was using 51.5gr of H380 at about 3800 fps. Good accuracy and performance on the coyotes but muzzle blast and flash was tremendous. I switched to 100 gr. partitions for that one. In the Ruger I've used the same 51.5 gr of H380, also 51.5 gr of H414, and 45 gr of H4895. All produce over 4000 fps out of the Ruger's 26 inch barrel with very good accuracy. Absolute hell on small critters.

GHD- what load are you using with the 70 gr BTs?

bogio, My load with the 70 grain Nosler BT is 41.0 grains of Varget and a Federal 210 Match primer with the bullet just touching the lands. Ran that load through 2 different 700VS(older models) a couple weeks ago over the chronograph and got 3515 out of one and 3514 out of the other average for 10 shots! Pretty consistent for two different rifles! Both rifles shot them in the .3's. GHD
