If you were going to buy a new RF what unit would it be and why? How much would you be willing to spend for performance?

I bought a Newcon 1500 and sent it back after one day. To replace it I bought the highly recommended Leica 1200 scan. Great tool. I paid $410 on ebay, but did see one online for $400. Do a search here, and over at longrangehunting.com, you will find a good bit of info.
