Snapper-hands down the best and the easiest one to use that I've found is one called the Critter Call. It is made in LaPorte or LaGrand Colo, which I can't remember. Major Bodkins is the fella who invented it.

Best darn call I've ever used flat out! You can make an incredible amount of different sounds out of it. Howling is very easy with it. Call me b4 you come this way and we'll catch up for coffee and a calling session in the parking lot.

I've called bears/yotes/fox/lopes/deer/elk with it!

Open reed, 3 sizes and about $12 or $15 bucks.

A bit tough to find one, I'll start looking around Boze and if I find one I'll send it to you.

Thanks for the help Mark!

You have forgotten more than I'll ever learn about calling coyotes.

Got one last Sunday.

Mark, I've been using a 6mm AI shooting the 58 grain Vmax at 4100 fps.

I'm going to work up a 70 grain load and slow the bullet down some and see what happens.

I did take a yote looking at me in the neck at 395 yds (Nikon) and the bullet didn't come out.

What are you shooting these days.
