during some shop cleaning I came across the following. would like some pet loads for this stuff as I will have it loaded up for future.
This will all be loaded for 223
500 Hornady 40grn V-Max moly coated
100 Barnes XLC 53grn X
solid dry filmcoated

I used to shoot 25 grain of Reloader 10X with the 40 grain v-max's. I had very good accuracy with my Howa.

The 40 grain V MAX works well for me over 28 grains of W748 or 22 grains of IMR 4198.

With N133 and the 40 V-Max start at 25.0 and start working to a Max of 27.0. When you find a sweet spot stop.

28 to 30 grains of H 335....

or 27.5 grains of IMR 4320....

I think you will LOVE the accuracy and the velocity, especially on the H 335 loads...

My 700 VS just loves 25.4grs. of imr4895 and a Hornady 52gr match btsp. I shot a .108 group a couple of weeks ago at 100 yds.

Thanks guys, I'm not reloading anymore so a buddy will be doing this for me. I just needed some info and as usual, you guys came through.
I mostly shoot factory as I prefer to shoot than be reloading and the sage rat hunt is coming up soon. But I am getting closer to my 10,000 rounds of ammo stash

seafire, keep me posted on the rats, ifn' ya want to make a trip. I;m going to be off work til about mid-May so I can make a trip south if the little buggers are startin to show.
