I've used ELD-Xs & Eld-Ms in my 6.5/.284 XP handgun. They are very accurate, BUT they are very SOFT. The Xs have a little thicker jacket than the Ms, but both expand violently & penetrate poorly. For pigs, the Ms will probably do OK on the little ones, but when you get to the 200#+ I'd be very warry. In the 20+ whitetails I shot with the Xs & Ms no bullet exited on angling shots & not all exited on broadside shots. Minimal amounts of the bullets were ever recovered. They sort of "exploded". Much better 6.5 bullets in the Creed would be Nos. BTs & ABs. A friend has killed a lot of pigs with 125 BTs without any problems. Larry Rogers

Larry, Excellent reply. Thank you. Based on a few very good experiences (deer) I'm a real fan of the 30 cal Sierra TMK. I spoke with the Sierra Rep on Tues - for short & LR Coyotes - 6.5 CM - which bullet? I thought he would say the 107 TMK. Nope. Hands down...130 TMK. This 130 gr bullet in my Tikka CTR shoots .1 & .2 MOA @ 100 yards. Thanks again for answering my question. Will definitely pick up some BTs as you recommended. Cheers! :-)
