| You know what BD, I think the psycho effect is something like drug addiction. John Ricks is building me a 450 Dakota. I have a 6.5 PPC being built by one guy, he's had the 527 I'm building it on since Christmas, 2001. says it will be finished in April. I wanted a 6 mm PPC on a 527 so took another 527 to another 'smith who also says it will be finished in April. Robgunbuilder sold me a take off bbl and stock from an Enfield he used for a 470 Mbongo I think, in 300 Winnie and I got an action from Aglore in Alaska, so I was checking with the local 'smith yesterday, says he can rechamber to 300 RUM and screw it together for $235. Meanwhile I found an old guy through a recommendation from here on the forum who does wonders with model 98 1936 Mexican Mausers. He's building me a 257 BobAI on one and a 376 Steyr is next similiar to the one Jeffeoso built. I have to keep notes so I don't get confused about what I have going on but ain't it fun? |

| And that's another part that really bothers me. I take my wife to try something I've just finished and she wants something similiar. Even if I was opposed to ladies in our sport, which I'm not, I couldn't afford to deny her. She bought me an Enfield for my birthday in December (new 33 coming) and a 527 with beautiful wood in 222 for Christmas. Now I'm behind on scopes again. I just love these type problems. |

| I wish I had too many gun projects going on, I have too many other projects going to have gun projects. I've got an '81 Toyota with a blown tranny that needs to be going in May for the sand dunes. I've got fence posts and a gate, but no fence. A basement that I tore down to the studs last spring, due to water damage. I'm trying to finish one of the rooms for a reloading room. My father in law's truck needs to have the intake manifold resealed. His '76 Ford tilt bed blew the engine up this winter, it needs to be going for harvest this spring. One of the Cat engines is on it's last legs, it also needs to run well enough to pump irrigation for harvest, luckily I may not have to deal with that one. To top it all off, my wife has decided that she wants to start breeding Great Pyreneese. We've already got a Jack Russel and two Labs, last week she brought home a year old male Pyreneese that weighs in at about 115 pounds. A female will be on the way soon. The reloading room has been the major project for the last two weeks, I'll sit in there dreaming of wildcats while the wife is apparently dreaming up new projects for me. You guys are the lucky ones. Goota go, I think I see a list in her hands. |

| Thank God I am not the only one? It was getting a bit lonely in the nut house. |

| I go to every gun show and buy the three cheapest guns there.
I have 100 project guns, that could each take a year to staighten out.
I have noticed that old men cannot finnish projects or even organize the junk, but they can still fantasize and drag more stuff home. |

| I agree Clark, I want to die with several projects in the works. Two things I've learned, always have rifle projects going and never run out of sour mash. That's the secret to eternal happiness. |
