Yep, perfect timing. The babies are just coming out so populations are way up here. Frank "I don't know what there is about buffalo that frightens me so.....He looks like he hates you personally. Since you will be close to the Mission de San Juan Batisa are you going to have to give the ground squirrels last rites? I can just here it now. "In the name of the rifle, the ammo, and the 3x9 Leupold ....." RELOAD - ITS FUN!

How did you manage that?! I live in Fresno and can't ever find a place to shoot them the one place that I see them all the time happens to be a school, they wouldn't appreiate my help there I am sure. Red

DR, It helps to now some people, and it never hurts to ask! I got lucky on this one. The rancher was out tending a stear that was down as I passed by. I just stopped and helped him. Turned out it had broke an ankle in a hole. I asked if I could pick a few off on the weekend. We talk about an hour or so and after he learned that was an alright guy he gave me permition. Only thing I have to do is stop by his house (no earlier then 6:00 am) and tell him I will be on his land. Thats it! 338vt
