Just got permition to shot some on a 1700 acer ranch just north of San Juan Batisa, Ca.. Can't wait till next weekend. Looks like I need to load a lot more ammo. this week. 338vt

Since you will be close to the Mission de San Juan Batisa are you going to have to give the ground squirrels last rites? I can just here it now. "In the name of the rifle, the ammo, and the 3x9 Leupold ....."

How did you manage that?! I live in Fresno and can't ever find a place to shoot them Frowner the one place that I see them all the time happens to be a school, they wouldn't appreiate my help there I am sure.

DR, It helps to now some peoplethumb, and it never hurts to ask! I got lucky on this one. The rancher was out tending a stear that was down as I passed by. I just stopped and helped him. Turned out it had broke an ankle in a hole. I asked if I could pick a few off on the weekend. We talk about an hour or so and after he learned that was an alright guy he gave me permition. Only thing I have to do is stop by his house (no earlier then 6:00 am) and tell him I will be on his land. Thats it! 338vt
