We shoot the white tails up in SW wyoming. When is it too late to go after them? Does anyone know if they stop coming out at some point in the year. Thanks,

In Colorado it can be fun to shoot them on the snow during sunny winter days. They will hole up during cold or bad weather and but can be seen out during most of the year. The results of a high velocity hit are fairly spectacular on the snow.

I've heard it said that June to the end of August.......I have no clue what that tidbit is based on. I shoot blacktails on private land whichs means if the sun is shinin I can be shootin. Quiethunter where you at in CO ? Besides shootin 'em every time I go out deer/antelope hunting I usually make a few trips during the off seasons just to shoot dogs.
