Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..

Glad to see you Canucks are having a little fun north of the border, eh?

Sure would have loved to known you guys when I was covering Alberta as a regional manager....

and to think I use to spend my spare time in the summer in Edmonton, Red Deer and Calgary just either going to the movies or going out to a driving range...

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

Fabulous! Love the one that required six frames. Yes-- serious hangtime. I love shootin' jacks and squippels. The way they explode and go airborne provides endless fun and satisfaction. I like to use ballistic tips on 'em. You get a better "splat."

Average distance was about 200 yds.
Camera is a Nikon D-300. Lens is the Nikon AF-S (70 - 200 mm) VR Zoom-Nikkor F/2.8 IF-ED
A "doubler" was also used with it. The TC-20E11 AFS Teleconverter which allows you to effectively double the amount of your zoom lens. You sacrifice a bit of clarity with the doubler but it's not to bad when the camera is mounted on a sturdy tripod.

Ballistic tips don't give as much splat as that 39 gr. Sierra. I shot both this year about 200 ea. Same load, the sierra gave more splat. The ballistic tips and the v-max expand about the same. This is in 39 and 40 gr. .204 bullets loaded to 3700 fps, a max. load out of a 26" barrel.Custom .204 Ruger, Shilen barrel and 2 oz. Shilen trigger, blue printed Rem. 700 action.

Of course the 32 gr. bullets expand very easily, but they whip around in the wind pretty bad as ranges get over 200 yds.

velocity is like a new car, always losing value.
BC is like diamonds, holding value forever.
