what companies make left handed guns in 204 or 22-250. i know of savage, and remington only makes a 22-250, not a 204. any info would be great.

TC Encore with a 1.5 lb. trigger job and a Match Grade Machine barrel in any chamber works well. Once you get set up, custom barrels cost no more than cheap bolt guns. The Encore does not care what shoulder feels the recoil.

If this is for a bench-fired varmint gun, then you're much better off as a left-handed shooter with a right-handed bolt. Having the loading port on the same side of the gun as you are lets you feed shells and retrieve the brass much more easily. Note that many benchrest competitors seek out opposite-handed actions to build their rifles on.

By the same token, nothing could be worse for a gun that is to be fired primarily (or even casually) from the bench than a break-open action. The gun must be completely removed from its rest in order to cycle the action for the next shot. This is a HUGE pain that will slow your rate of fire on something like prairie dogs to half of less of a bolt single shot, and cause you to miss a lot of fleeting PD opportunities.
