Hi Group, I'm new here. Great discussions. I spoke to Barnes about a load for the 36 grain Grenade and the 22 Hornet. They told me that they couldn't get the bullet to stabilize. Has anyone tried this combination? Thanks, Larry

Tried and failed. Hornet twist is too slow. Stick them through a 223. and you'll be

Would not stablize in an Anschutz with a case full of LilGun. Groups were about 5" at 100 yds and evidence of some keyholing. For comparison, 40 grain V-max produce less than 1/2" groups. The Anschutz has a 1:16 twist.

My buddy at the range has had Zero luck with it and his K- Hornet, Savage Mod 40. roger Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..

35 and 40 vmax shoot real good from my cz with 13.2 grains of lilgun.I like the 40 better has a higher BC I get 3000 fps and 1/2 inch or less groups and has more velocity and hitting power at 200 yards than the 35vmax.Never shot the barnes the vmax worked too well to change
