I'm thinking of buying a 223 Cooper Predator. Does anyone have one and what's the opinion of the AR group on this gun?

Oops, a senior moment. I meant a Cooper Phoenix. I guess I got my Coopers and Dakotas switched!

The one Cooper I own at this time is a finely made good shooting rifle (.243 AI.) I would and probably will buy anothr within a year. The model is a Montana Varminter though and doesn't exactly fit your criteria. Nicely made rifles for the price. IMHO

cheers

I have two Coopers; a Western Classic .22 lr, and a Custon Classic 22-250. Not only are they beautiful rifles, they are two of the most accurate rifles I have owned. I would buy another one without hesitation.
