Between an hour before dark and an hour after dark. I don't have much luck during "full light" hours.

Out here on the plains of eastern Alberta the best time of day is from dawn till around 10am.(other than after dark under a full moon with snow on the ground but THAT is illegal here so.)By 10 or 10;30 the coyotes have usually found a spot to rest up from the nights activities. Of course they can be called anytime of the day or night but the morning is always best.

That kind of depends on the coyote. I've called them in at all times of the day. My absolute favorite is from daylight to noon or two hours before dark. But here in Texas we can kill them 27/7.

My favorite time to call coyotes is on cold, overcast days -- especially if there's a fine mist in the air. You can call them all day long under those conditions.

Other than that, the first couple hours of the day along with an hour or so before sundown work extremely well.

THE FIRST TWO HOURS OF DAYLIGHT IS MY FAVORITE AND SEEMS TO BE MORE SUCCESSFULL FOR ME,MY THOUGHT IS,THEY HUNT ALL NITE & COULD BE MOST ANYWHERE AT DAYLIGHT,IN THE AFTERNOON & EVENING THEY ARE MOST LIKELY BEDED DOWN,AND YOU'LL NEED TO BE CLOSE TO THEIR SLEEPING AREA,IF YOU KNOW WHERE THEY BED,BY ALL MEANS GO TRY TO CALL ONE IN ANYTIME OF THE DAY,IF THEY CAN HEAR IT ,THEY WILL COME
