I shot a 6/284 and 6BR with 1/8 twist for awhile but have got to a 6.5/284 and will be using that for a long range PD rifle this year. Tom

I have two 6mm remington's with 8 twists that I use for rockchuck hunting. Both have made shots out to 600yds. One is a LV contour and the other is a HV. The 6's are good for medium range but nothing beats a 30 for affect or true long range work.
