Clayman,
The pics are frames from a video a customer sent me. He used a 22-250 with 40gr HV bullets at 4200fps. The shot in the pictures was taken at about 200m. He owns a video production/advertising company and they have some pretty nice equipment.

We had the video running on a screen at our stand at the Aim Show in Johannesburg earlier this year. It was hillarious to watch the various reactions from people looking at it. At one stage a mom with two little girls in tow came along. The video had just started and the image was zooming in on the squirrel sitting and looking around. At the shot and the red haze, her jaw dropped and she tried to cover one girl's eyes with her free hand and almost knocked the head off the other with the parcel she had in that hand. When she realised that the video continues on to more of the same, she dragged them off with more force than what becomes a tree hugger. Out of politeness we cracked up after she left but it was difficult.
