Just bought a Tasco mil-dot 6-24x varmit.Tasco's
instuctions in use are lacking ! I down loaded
a chart from another site.The information I
Can't find is at what power setting to work
calculations ? 24x ? 6x ?

yeah that tasco mildot scope needs to be set on ten power to work with the dots correctly. i own one of them and they are decent scopes for the money. enjoy your cheap thrill!!!

A friend of mine has a Bushnell 4200 mildot 6-24 which needs to be used on 12 power. It was set up that way so that with a conversion of 2x or 0.5x it would work at 6 power or 24 power. but the base setting is 12x

No idea about tasco though.

let me know how you like this scope. Ive been considering one to mount on a .223 NEF. I was planing to view a target with 1" grids from 100yds at various powers and then make my own calculations based on that.
