I've had a few of the cheaper ones that aren't so cheap and it seems like after a couple months they're worthless. I have a brand new one that I got a couple years ago and tried it out for the first time today, it doesn't work. I'd like to have one with different sound modules so I can use it for Crows and Coyotes. Thanks

I have a fox pro firestorm that works well. Two of my brothers have foxpros and have the same results. Havn't tried the others except two of the old johnny stewart tape player calls. They also worked well, except in extreme cold weather. NRA Patron member

I've used several different brands but quit looking when I got my Foxpro (FX5). APC is an excellent source for all makes and great customer service: All Predator Calls. By all means it is my home made one. I bought most of the stuff to make it from Radio Shack, got the MP# player as a christmas Gift. Found the cup along the interstate near a entrance ramp. I have less than $50.00 invested in it and it works great on Michigan coyutes. Al Garden View Apiaries where the view is as sweet as the honey.

I have the wt atom 21 and the foxpro fury,I like the wt for open country during the day and the foxpro fury for night time and when i'm walking long distances also the remote on the fury is much nicer you can scroll through sounds insted of trying to memorize them and you can see them at night also you can set up 10 presets and hit 1 number and it will do the rest volume and calls for the set all you have to do is shoot. If I had to choose just one it would be the fury. Also foxpro is making a call like the atom at less than half the weight i think its the 24b with the same remote as the fury.

I use a caset player on a pillow on top of my pickup cab, a big red spotlight and I have a hand call also..I kill a lot of coyotes where I live with that combo..The So. Idaho desert is crawling with coyotes..during antelope season we were shooting 4 or 5 a day and missing a dozen or so. I had to call a halt to the coyote shooting so I could shoot an Antelope, got that done and they went back to shooting at coyotes.. We have Coyote shooting contests and everyone puts money in the pot and winner takes all, you better shoot a dozen or don't come back, it takes from 12 to 20 to win and that is all daytime shooting. Last hunt two of the guys won a 240 Wby apeice..Thats a once a year deal. Ray Atkinson Atkinson Hunting Adventures 10 Ward Lane, Filer, Idaho, 83328 208-731-4120 rayatkinsonhunting@gmail.com

I've had excellent luck with the FX3. Bought it several years ago. On my second set of rechargable batteries. No issues. Simple, easy to use and effective on bobcats, coons, coyote, crows, and fox. GWB

I just upgraded from am older Johnny Stewart that uses little sound modules and isn't remote to a used FoxPro FX5. To say it was a huge jump in technology and usability is an understatement. bob
