Pop and I and my godfather and his son hunted near Cherry Valley, NY for 30+ years. The farms got sold over the years , we stopped in 2006-ish

Well maybe because it’s hunting season right now has something to do with it?

Actually I’ve been trying to shoot a rather bold coyote hanging around our place. I’ve shot at him twice but missed both times. The brush is thick here and it’s pretty much a snapshot or nothing. But I’m getting him trained! Big Grin

I missed on a back hand shot, moving tractor, on an armadillo I saw bolting through my south woods. I tried!

LOL, with a lumbar fusion it is really hard to turn around to do such a shot. I still tried! Just no flexibility like that anymore.

Sorry, I can't get my photo to post from photobucket. I'm not very computer literate.
It's of 15,000 groundhog/rockchucks. I think that qualifies me.

Ann, Hipshoot: I am fused from L2 to S1 and am getting periodic injections in S1-S2 that have been a great blessing. Turning to see behind me when I back out of a crowded parking lot is a fun challenge, as is just putting on shoes and socks. So "I feel your pain."

Bill, I can relate. A few years ago, Linda left a laundry basket at the head of the stairs + during the night, going to the bathroom , I tripped over it + went headfirst down the stairs. Don't know if I broke it or not, as I never went to the doctor, but I still have the same problem as you on looking back to back out of a parking place. And, Ann, many years ago, I tore all my lower back ligaments loose while clearing a fence line, + even to this day, if I turn wrong, I will go to the ground. So yes, to ANYBODY who has back or spinal ones in general issues, I DO feel your pain

Back pain is no fun. It really slows me down.
