I've went on "Huntingtons" site the other day looking for 6.5 x .284 brass and I noticed a pretty big difference in price between Norma and Hornady (Hornady being the more expensive).

Is there that much difference in quality between the two? I'm turning this stuff into 6 x .284 and have only used .284 brass in the past.

Also, I heard through the grapevine that some company out there is turning out 6 x .284 brass. Any truth to this?

I have just recently chambered up a 6 by 284, and I used the Lapua brass and found it to be great. I simply bought 6.5x284 brass, bought an expander ball decapping rod for my Redding Competition sizer and ran it through. I necked down 300 cases and didn't lose any. The gun groups between 1 and 2 inches at 540 yards in good conditions. When you get some time on your gun, e-mail me and let me know how it's doing. I'm really interested.
