Does anyone have any experience with the Weatherby varmint model rifle. Are they worth fooling with?

I have two of the original mini mark v varmintmasters. One in 224 wby and the other in 22-250...awesome carry guns for coyote and other varmints. Nice and accurate, and fancy wood stocks.

If you are talking about the new ones, the vanguard special varmint interests me and I've read good reviews. One in 223 would be a nice compliment. My friend has a 223 heavy barrel mark v that was their tactical rifle. It's very accurate and smooth, but a bit heavy to lug around in the field.

I'm biased because I love Weatherby, but I sure like my Remington VSSF 220 swift too.
