Does any one have the contact info for the company that builds the Roto Bench? I was told they are located in Oklahoma City but I can find any info. I was hoping to find a web site, but no luck so far. Thanks, Chris

A friend of mine has a BR Pivot. It's very old, but holdin' up well. I looked on-line for one. They are still made, but not by the original maker. I think Caldwell or Battenfeld makes them now. Give it a search...

I'm not sure if RCBS is selling them or not. I will have to get a little more info from the fellow that was telling me about them. The BR Pivot sure is nice but a little pricey for a once a year dog shoot. I may just have to build my own.

Riverman, I live near Oklahoma City. See what sort of additional information you can get and send it to me or post it here. I'll check into it.

Found what may be the item you are looking for. Here is a link to a photo of it being used and there's a phone number with it. Roto Bench Accuright Manufacturing at 406/388-7234

That might be it. I will give them a call. That guy sure looks uncomfortable in the back of that Rhino, though. I have just about decided on the Caldwell bench, but I will check into this one first. One of the things I have to watch for is the weight limit, some of the benches have a 300 pound limit, and while I'm not quite there, I am definitely knocking on the door

While it is not a roto bench I have come up with my own solution to longer range shots where prone with a bipod is not viable for one reason or another. In my case we have a target rich enviroment BUT it is not all in one place and requires much walking with oportunities for 5 or 6 animals (rabbits) then we move on. A vehicle mounted bench is not an option and vegetation often rules out prone - bipod work. The main reason though, is that I have a shoulder injury that will not allow me to shoot prone anymore so came up with my wheeled shooting chair. Note in the first pic that the wheel is set out to widen wheel base for stability but is retractable for going into the vehicle. In use the upright part of the shooting trolly is a rest for the left side of the chest and a thumb hooks round the right side to stabalist the butt of the rifle against your shoulder. It is easily taken from place to place with storage space for rabbits, ammo, water and binoculars, rangefinder. Is easily as steady as a bipod for my use and have hits out far enough to satisfy.
