I am still looking for a scope for my varmit rig.
I am thinking like 4-16 or 6-18 power. Were are some good sights to look at to catch a good deal. Have any of you seen the Sightron scopes been reading some on them they sound prety good.

Try Bear Basin or SWFA.

www.bearbasin.com

www.swfa.com

I've had good results from both, and you'd be hard pressed to find better pricing, day in and day out.

I've had good luck with Natchez Shooters Supply, everytime I've told them about a site with a lower price they have cut the price below that.

Ditto on the Bear Basin site. ALso, check the 6.5-20x40 by Leupold. Just put one on my 22-250 and love it.

I bought a sightron 4.5-12, and 6.5-24x50 from midway. They have the best prices on sightron scopes. [Razz]

I have a 6-24 sightron w/ the mil-dot reticle. it is a super scope for the price. I have it on a savage 7 mag and recoil is not problem for it. Holds a zero very well. I would buy another, no questions asked.

If you know what you want, e-bay is a good place to pick up quality optics for a good price. I have bought several Leupolds for less than wholesale in as new to NIB condition. The Leup. VXIII in 4.5x14 is a great scope.
