went out for a walk with my wife this evening and saw 4 Saber-Toothed Tunnel Rats sneaking around doing recon work. fearing an attack or even a invasion we returned home at once and retreated to the safety of my gun shop to prepare to do battle the vicious critters. not wanting to be seen on ZNN with a ugly rifle in the heat of battle we armed ourselves with my Ruger #1V 22-250 topped with a Burris Black Diamond 8-32x50 and her Cooper 223AI topped with Burris 6-24x40 Black Diamond. while my wife got out our spotting scopes and shooting pads i started prepping brass and bullets for the attack that's sure to follow. it'll be a hard battle but with a little luck and some good weather maybe we can hold off the hords for another season.

In Australia, we have to give a "Genuine Need" and a "Genuine Reason" for wanting to buy every rifle we own. Now "sabre-toothed tunnel rats". that's a genuine need if ever I saw one except I might modify it to "Vampire Kangaroos"

yep my son and I have had to fend off more than one attack. We have a big mound right in the middle of the dogtown we shoot from and have to regularly "check our six" to make the little bastxrds are n't sneakin in from behind. It the stuff legends are made of.....Fanged Terror of the Prairie.

Yep, my next project is a 375 H&H to carry during my saber tooth hunts as a last ditch stopping rifle.
