Gonna start taking down some song dogs (possible other critter such as fox and possible bob's) and wanted to know of some good material, books or dvds/videos, on skinning and doing something (stretching/cleaning or fleshing/tanning or preserving) with the hides. Was wanting to see if it is something I want to take on or if I should just take them to a tanner or just sell them. Either way I would like to get some good advice on skinning them the right/best way. Thanks!! ______________________ Smedley ______________________ From Audacity of Hope: 'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.' Bliane Eddy has a good video. He goes by the name Heavy Eagle on Saubier, Coyote Gods and Varmit Masters. He is hunting now, and will be for the next few weeks. Some guys on Saubier have his contact info and will have him get a hold of you. I just had a big Red Fox tanned. Going rate for a processed hide from a carcass is a $100. | |||
