THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE! I live in Newport and have only hunted two times around Christmas Valley. I've read where there are places around Burns, K-Falls, and John Day. I found that it is getting harder to get permission to hunt private property these days. So, was hoping to have it all set up before I left. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone at these locations. Go try at crane, its about 30 minutes away.Squirrels every where not yet. We still have snow.Probuly next month. I know a guy who has a field. I'm sure he'd let me shoot. I have heard of a few ranches charge people to shoot, but some will be more then happy to let you shoot. As long as you be respectful. My self like to shoot rockchucks. | |||
