Where did the Varmint Guy go that posted here a few months back haven't seen any posts from him.I think he was from Montana.

I think the deal was that VG had a bit of a tiff with someone and he is no longer supposed to post here. It's a shame because VG was someone with a lot of knowledge and was willing to share it but I guess being forceful in his presentations was a bit much for some. GHD

I thought that he was banned from this site about two years ago. I see that he posts on 24hourcampfire.

Yup, he’s pretty active over on the Campfire.

I like varmint guy for the most part I have in the past PM him a bit.

But he did go over the edge when it came to the use of the 4 letter word kind.

I would welcome him back if he could tone down his usage of foul words.

I learn a lot from just about everybody on AR (yes I even learned a few things from VG).
I love different opinions, it really makes you think!

I have gleaned many lifetimes of experience and knowledge from people on these forums and read many interesting and/or humorus stories.

There is always something new to learn, and this is a great place to do it!

That was about as boring as VG’s last posts. I talk behind his back because he’s gone. This thread is a eulogy and a lot of people don’t miss his passing.

I for one was indifferent to his posts, but some people are glad that he’s gone.

Stating the facts is not an attack.

I am not a member of 24hour campfire and have no desire to be one. If you are so concerned about "attacks," tell VG to come over here and defend himself. Even the site owner said no one can stop him from registering under another name.

Of course, any more outbursts like before would get him the boot -- again.
