I have all the parts just need a barrel If I buy a used or new take off for 22-250 and turn it into a 22-250 ackley do you gain anything with it being a 1-14 twist or should you just leave it a standard 22-250? and how much lenght would i lose to rechamber and fit my action. My only reason for doing this is for fun and something I dont have

the AI is about the same as a swift. what I found really works neat is to use the 22/250AI in a 8" twist bbl and shooting the 80 grain bullets. that makes a really cool 6-800 yard PD blaster
