Hello 41Rem,

In my .243Win. I do best with the Sierra 85gr HPBT and IMR4895 37.5grs. and get .625" (5 at 100yds.). I don't get that every time since the rifle has a 22" sporter barrel.
I also use that bullet in my Remington VLS in 6mm Rem. With
IMR4320 39.5grs., and it prints .8" It's a new rifle, and I suspect it will do much better with time since it has a 26" heavy barrel and weighs almost 10lbs. For pure accuracy the rifles both do better with the Sierra 70gr. HPBT. Both print in the .4's and .5's. Best wishes.

Cal - Montreal

Just shot one of my better groups with this new 243. Put 5 rounds into .424" @ 100yards, 85 gr. Sierra HPGK seated at 2.65" (of course for you Cal, thats 67.31mm), load is 36.0 gr. IMR 4895 and a Federal 210 gold match primer. I can seat the 75 gr. V-max out to 2.710" with no problem, but due to the shape of the gameking at that length it will engrave into the rifleing, so I have to seat it back a bit. Think the barrel is starting to break in, 183 rounds so far
