29 gr. wcc846, CCI small Mag primers LC04 cases.

33gr. JHP, Mid Way Bulk, oal=2.084",--3597 to 3690 fps. 4 shot 3/16" group @50yds.,3 shot 1" group @ 200yds.

34gr. Pt.HP. Mid South Varmint Nite Mare, oal=2.158",-- 3663 to 3681 fps. 3 shot 3/16" group @50 yds.6 shot 1" group @200yds.7 th shot was 1/2" farther out. Shooter error!

29gr. 2230-C, 200 fc. primers, LC04 cases.

33gr. JHP.MW., oal=2.082", 3762 to 3838 fps., 7 shot 3/4" group @ 50 yds.

34 gr. PtHP, MS., oal=2.180", 3757 to 3885 fps., 6 shot 3/8" group, and 8 shot 3/4" group @ 50 yds., a little wind came up., 4 shot 1 1/2" group @200yds.

28.6gr. wcc844, CCI Mag primers, LC04 cases.

33gr JHP.MW., oal=2.085", 3696 to 3729fps., 3 shot 1" group at 200yds.

34gr. ptHP. MS., oal=2.157", 3707 to 3738 fps., 6 shot 1/4" group @ 50yds., 1" group @ 200yds.

Did not expect the 1-9 twist to be this repeatable. Pleasant surprise. Get them while they last for 7 cents apiece. popcorn roger

Have you figured out who makes these? How do you think they would they do in a Hornet?

I suspect that's what they were really made for. It doesn't look that I could even down load and duplicate the hornet perfomance without the right twist barrel. It shouldn't be much of a gamble for you to buy 500; if they don't work for what they cost someone will take them off your hands. fishingroger

I can't remember which way it was.. but Nosler is making one for one company and Hornady is making the other...

the varmint extremes are being made by Nosler on private label contract.. according to a source over in Bend at Nosler..
