Hey guys. The safty is what it is, but if you hate that magazine $65.00 worth here's your answer.
Personally I like the look, (very european) and I love the way they shoot!

Sounds like a good plan redial.
It seems a lot of guys get mesmerized by 4,000+ on the chrono when they first start shooting sub-calibers and common sense goes out the window, glad to see your well beyond that. The other side of that is trying to slow it down too much, way to much empty case and all the attendent problems that go along with that. Sure is a great round though and great for fur.
I love the .17 Remington but truth be told it's one overbore son of a gun. What other round does a guy shoot where the powder charge frequently outweighs the bullet.
Bigtime fun but as you point out you don't have to run it to the wall to get boo-coo performance out of it.
Keep us posted how that critter shoots, I sure like mine. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
