I am looking for the plans or a dealer for the plywood shooting benches that were out a few years back. They look to be cut from a single sheet of plywood and slide together like a puzzle. Any help or ideas would be appreciated!

I build them out of two pcs of 3/4 plywood...screwed & glued together...use angled/welded pipe flanges with threaded 1.25" legs...24" wide x 36" long....about 45#....shown with optional umbrella bracket...and 6BR...

I've made something very similar to the bench pictured, just using one sheet of 3/4" plywood for the top and plastic piping for the legs and the sockets. This brought the weight down substantially.
I agree the pictured bench is probably more steady. However, sometimes movement is more important.

Great minds think alike. I made my portable bench about eight years ago. Looks and sounds the same. I do like the umbrella holder. Great addition!

Found this.

I got one in a trade some years ago. Used it a couple of times and didn't like it at all. Maybe the plywood was too thick, but it wasn't any lighter than the tripod types and it wasn't nearly as stable. Gave it to my brother. He is using it for an end table in the cabin.

There is a guy that makes light benches out of Hulett Wyoming but I can't remember his name. I was p-doging down that way and several of the guys had em and seemed to like em a lot. Real light, easy to set up etc.
I'm retired and shoot a lot so I went up a couple notches with this one. It sets up in a minute and a half, swivels 360 and as wide as those legs are it's solid as Sears.

Made this one out of 1" Alder Cabinet Grade Plywood. Not easy to find but makes for a strong lightweight table.

Looks tall.....how long are the legs ?

42". A 5 gal. bucket works great as a stool.

Roger it's an ex-.22 Hornet that has been reborn as a .17 Ackley Hornet. This target was wet as it was raining a bit so the hole is a bit uneven but you get the idea. 5 shots at 100 yards of course.
