I have a problem with my favorite deer hunting property. Theres alot of yote hunting that goes on at night. There always calling them in but none ever seem to die. Obviously there doing nothing but educating them. In a round about way i have asked where they setup at. I have been calling from different locations. I finaly got one to cooperate today. I set up on a small field that is about 150 yds wide x 250 yds long. It slopes down to a creek bottom and there is a roll of round bails at the top where i can sit. I turned the fawn dstress on low for 2 minutes then jacked the volume up. It took about 2 more minutes for the yote to show up. She came bouncing into the field trying to see into the foot high winter wheat. When she stopped and started looking around i let her have one from about 130 yds. away. I have walked in the foot prints of the elephant, listened to lion roar and met the buffalo on his turf. I shall never be the same. | ||
