Works great, looks like one of the Dog-B-Gone videos. There's nothing like a moving (or bouncing) avator!

Fjold,
This is not Dog-B-Gone, this is my own personal kill.

That's great. I'd like to do something like that myself. What type of camera were you using?

Fjold,

I wasn't using a camera, I was using a .223 Big Grin Big Grin

My Son has a digital something or other. I don't own one. I am lucky that the guys that go pd hunting with me have digital cams with zoom lens. Every time I see one in the store, I look at the price and figure thats the cost of another barrel.

We have been taping the hunts for the last two years and have some pretty good footage. I do believe there will be a CD coming out in the future.

We are working on getting video of the cross hairs actually lining up on the pd and watching what happens through the scope.

My Son has everything figured out how to upload a live feed from the prairie so you guys could log on and actually look through the scope and watch while we are shooting. We need to "borrow" one of those TV trucks with the bird bath on the top though. Eeker

pdhntr1 ,
Boy those things bounce . Thought you must have been using a serious cannon , not a .223 .
Still like Fjold's better . thumb

The hunting imperative was part of every man's soul; some denied or suppressed it, others diverted it into less blatantly violent avenues of expression, wielding clubs on the golf course or racquets on the court, substituting a little white ball for the prey of flesh and blood.

Swede,

It all depends on if you want a moving or still avatar. A still avatar is very easy to do. A moving one is more difficult and you would have to contact my son for those instructions.

I am going to try to PM you with his e-mail. I have not PM'd anyone yet with the new software but I think I may have it figured out. What I don't know is how a recipient is notified of a pm? Regardless, I will try and see what happens.

Thanks for the reply if you could send me an email at fun4dad@yahoo.com on how to put in an avatar other than the ones on the forum I would appreciate it. I probably will be using a moving one.

Thank You
