| I am guest with a good friend and we go down twice a year and are on his sister and brother in laws property. Once in March and again in April. The ealiest we have had a good shoot was the March 8th. Normally are there around Saint Patrick's Day. Will be there next week and hope the squirrels are up. |

| lol! Ya Baby...Every sunny day from here on out. I put some miles on the rig the last 3 days. I spent 2 days scouting and getting permition to hunt some chucks when they come out. I did some coyote hunting and the rockpiles I checked out looked like winners. I cant wait! Then I checked out some of my squirrel spots. Too much cover already in my two favorite places. Oh well! I started shooting aroung 9 and shot a dz fairly quick. Then it started to rain. I stuck it out, and I got lucky and it cleared up. Problem with this State is the good rock chuckin, and the good squirrel hunting are a couple hours apart making it hard to have a decent shoot with a mixed bag on the same day. Thats been my experiance anyway. Also I have not found any public spots that are good. Its all private, and people say no here in Wa. Not all of them, but some. Plus we have the Washington ground squirrel which is off limits. To save some of you some driving or getting in trouble for not knowing the diff. The populations of Wa gs are around Spokane, and Euphrata. |
