Saturday night was full moon.

I had the oppertunity to get out and make a couple of stands.

On the 1 st stand I had no takers but I could hear the jackal vocalising over the ridge to some of the sounds I used.

Moved closer to the area and made the second stand.

It was a brilliantly clear autumn night with the full moon. The stars like the southern cross were hanging in the night sky like pearls, even the city light polution could not damp them...

Spending 30 minutes on the second stand resulted in 4 jackal coming in and dropped with the 222 Rem and 40gr Vmax combination...

Beautiful- the dogs and the description.

Are the pelts worth anything? Don't know a thing about what's customary in your part of the world.
