![]() My buddy's Tikka dublicated the 75 gr. result and produced a one hole three shot group with the 68 gr. bullets. The 12bvss-s shoots sub MOA with the 75 gr. Hornady BTHP match bullets. FYI. ![]() Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward. Wisdom comes with age! Sometimes age comes alone..

Bartsche, I have been shooting Black Hills 70g V-Max (blue box) in my CZ, H&R and AR. They shoot very well in all three. Also try the 52g HP Match bullets (blue box). They shot very well in my CZ also. OK in the other two. The guy at S-M guns said he has tried just about every load from BH and these are the best that he has found overall. Your Savage is a 1-12, right? ---Mike

Try the 70g V-Max load. It worked well in three 1-9 twist guns I own and a 1-12 twist Remington bolt gun (one of the regulars at the range---5 in under 3/4" @100 yards) and according to the guy that sold them to me they worked well in just about every gun he tried them in. ---Mike

Bartsche, the V-Max load is 60g NOT 70g. After thinking about it, I went out and looked. Sure enough 60g. Sorry for the confusion. Originally when I bought these I wanted to try a 70g load in my .223s, but S-M did not have any. ---Mike
