What are some of the varmints from other countries that are shoot (chased) regularly?

Like Africa for example, are baboons, and mircats and hyenas considered varmints?
What about Europe or Asia?

I could go to an encyclopedia and look the above up, but is there anybody here that hunts varmints in other countries, and what varmints do you hunt?

edited to correct my spelling.

When I was in New Zealand varmints were possums, goats, pigs and wild turkey.

In South Africa we consider the Rock Hyrax, Springhare, black backed jackal, lynx or caracal, meerkat and baboon as varmints. There are others.

Leastways I do.

The Caracal is quite striking, very beautiful.
Do you sell the fur?
How difficult are baboons to hunt, from what I've read, it appears that they may educate easily and be quite difficult to hunt effectlivly. Or am I giving them more credit than is due?

In Australia its primarily rabbits, hares, crows and foxes that constitute varmints. Kangaroos require a permit but many are still taken without. Wild dogs and native dingoes are hunted in some parts. A friend's father is struggling with varmints on the Aboriginal mission he manages ... but they're camels Big Grin, do they count as varmints?

Camels, no worries, just set up a 338 Lapua with an 8-32x Nightforce and get stuck into them.
