Howdy to the board and long time since I have been here. Hope y'all are doing great. I don't deer hunt, but have a need to hang a varmint/game camera for a big varmint........ a burglar. I borrowed a Steath Cam from a friend but do not like borrowing stuff. It is black and stands out like a sore thumb. Personally, I want to purchase one or two cameras that are camo-colored. I would like for them to shoot photos up to 50 feet if possible. Not having any idea what these things cost or what might be the best model, I would like to get out for less than $100 per camera if at all possible. Would like to hear what model I might consider and any information about why you like or dislike it. Additionally, said camera would have to be capable of taking photos during daylight and hopefully take photos at night without a flash going off (is there such a thing?). I am at your mercy so any help will be greatly appreciated. Take care, Bo ********************** Thank goodness my grandfather put me in the woods as a child ! www.TableRockAngler.com

The new (2011 model) Moultrie 80&100 Are the best that I have found for the money. They are the smaller mini size and work great. I found the 80 on sale for $115. The 100 was a little more but had features I didn't need. I loned to my neighbor and he did cath a theif with it. Tony

Cuddeback. Get the infrared model for flashless night photography. We've tried numerous other makes; the Cuddback is the one that works -- at least more regularly than the others. It is also the simplest in terms of set-up, and has a long range sensor that will catch movement out past your 50-foot requirement.
