That's a wild stock. Where did you get it; who makes it? Is it available in LH?

fantastic group!! I have a CZ 22mag semi-auto and am in love with it since day one; and now Im looking into a .223 by them. Most likely a bit lighter model like the CZ 527 Lux.
Also, thats one beautiful setup you have.

Keep on killing those p-dogs,
Justin

Clark,

What's with the recoil pad on a .223?

Got arthritis in the right shoulder?

I cant even believe you would ask a question like that!!! Didnt you read the load I was using?? Let me repeat it for you... 24 grains of powder behind a 40 grain bullet. Ya, thats right, a 40!! grain bullet. Not a 32 like those candy-a _ _ 204 guys are shooting. I tried the gun without a recoil pad and the best I could do was three rounds before both eyes were out of their sockets, both ears were bleeding and I had permanently disabled my right shoulder!! I guess I am just not as tough as I used to be.

Seriously Clark, the answer is kind of embarrassing. I am so used to automatically putting on recoil pads, I cut the stock off and had the recoil pad on it before I realized I should have put a thin rubber pad on. The gun had been finished for several weeks before I finally realized what I did. Can you say brain dead??

Later, pdhntr
