I am planning a trip to the Tx panhandle for prairie dogs and was wondering what the hunting was like in the OK panhandle (Cimmaron, Texas, and Beaver counties). I have had good success, but would like the option of spreading out a bit if need be. I have heard that the plague might have hurt the dog numbers there.

I hunt around Stratford, Tx and Guymon, Ok.
PD numbers are way down from what they were a year ago. I have seen good numbers of PD's south of Dumas.
