Rick and Jim finally made it down to Texas after long wait. We have been planning this hunt for over a year. As usual, you try to plan something in West Texas this time of year, the weather will have other ideas. It was hot, windy, dirt blowing and a very bright mooon . We still managed to get in around 20 dogs and Rick's 1st grey fox during the week. Got the fox on video thanks to yours truly's Night Rhino. Got the Verminators a real treat of Texas night hunting. Rick was pretty nervous and thinking we might go to jail anytime. Kansas has some weird laws.
Watch for Rick's new video this Fall/Winter. We will definitely be doing another in Texas. I have great admiration for those camera guys doing the video work. Shooting and calling is easy compared to what Rick has to do.
Anyway, here is a pic of Rick and me after a successful hunt. We called in 6 dogs in 2 sets that morning.

Congrats......y'all did great.....especially with those conditions!! I will sure keep an eye out for the new video.
