Have any of you guys tried thies? My shooting buddy just bought the new Varmin-A-Tor which is the same as the VLC just uncoated. They seem to shoot real well. Barnes saies that their coating won't mater if you shoot coated and uncoated as it's not molly so I was thinking of giveing them a try. What are your expierence with the VLC? I am shooting a 22-250 so if they help keep the barrel cooler I thought it might be a good idea.

The Varmin A Tor bullets seem to shoot pretty well in my 22-250AI at about 4125 fps but I think the Nosler Ballistic Tips are more frangible. But the Barnes are also cheaper Haven't tried the coated ones though.

I use the VLC's in my 6PPC. They work just like other bullets. The only difference I can see is that, for whatever reason, the barrel stays cooler. FWIW, Dutch.
