Problem areas for Wolves in the state Unit 13, unit 20A, unit 20 D and E they are on the hit list as some game laws were changed like the use of snowmacnines. unit 12 to help and keep the 300 woodland Bou a live and give them a chance to recover moast of unit 12 is in the wrangal area all of these areas have largs number's of wolves and coyotes. that are doing dammage to game heard's like Moose and Sheep and Bou there is a lot written on this subjuct on the HA site in the Alaska part of the board one thread is on the Woodland Bou heard by its self >>Coyote Slayer
Today I picked up the 22-250 IMP 40 Deg.Big fat Lilja barrel.
if you were to get one of those with a fast twist to shoot 60 gr,it wouuld work.have a 257 WBY that can reach out there a long ways. But something like a 6 MM BR would do the same. They are a 500 and beond gun, would do about what you want to do.
Give Coyote Slayer a e-mail, ask him what he uses, he got over a dozen last year. He has some mighty fine shooters in his locker, kinda jealous, wish I had a couple of the shooters he's got.
