Or just throw an old piece of carpet, blanket, towel or something over it to keep the direct gas blast from hitting it. Probably a good idea even without a muzzle brake.

Hey VarmintGuy,

I would be more than happy to let you "break in" my Cooper when it is ready! I actually found a used one in excellent condition for $200 less. Can't decided wether to buy it now or wait until the new one arrives. I'll probably wait!

Thanks GHD, the bags will work great. Picked up some sand from Home Deopt yesterday.
